PDF Backup Error Detection Added

FAQ on recent changes to the PDF backup: What has changed with PDF backup? A recent change to the PDF backup process has resulted in improved detection of download errors for both policy documents and attached files. When downloading a PDF backup of your data, you may see a message indicating that some files failed to be added to the backup. Why have these changes been made to PDF backup? We understand that our clients have a variety of reasons to have the assurance that they’ve downloadeda complete local backup of theirlibrary in PolicyStat. These recent improvements provides that extra assurance. What should I do if a backup fails for some policies? Please notify PolicyStat support so we can investigate and resolve the issue. The new error message will list any policies that failed to be downloaded for backup. Visit the policy page and click the “printer friendly” button to manually download a PDF copy. If you experience an issue with a specific policy over multiple PDF backups, please send a message to PolicyStat support. What should I do if a backup fails for some attachments? The error message will provide a reference link to the policy containing the attachment. If the attachment is not accessible in the live PolicyStat application, review the policy to determine if this attachment was intended to be deleted. If the attachment should be present but is not accessible, please contact PolicyStat support so we can investigate and resolve the issue. If the attachment is present in the live application but fails to be downloaded to the PDF backup, the attachment cause may be a temporary failure at the time of PDF backup generation. NOTE: The PDF backup caches once it has been generated so you will have to wait until the next day to generate a fresh backup . If this does not resolve the issue or if an attachment fails to download for multiple PDF backups, please contact PolicyStat support.
